iLearn 2.0 Beyond the Virtual Classroom
25th Oct 2011
Following the great success of our eLearning platform we're now very proud to annouce the launch of our new Virtual Classroom 2.0.
Supplimenting our engaging eLearning packages that we develop for our clients the new Virtual Classroom allows us to bring students, customers and colleagues into a vitual training centre, where we have two classrooms, and large auditorium that seats 100 people and a library, all set in a nice virtual world.
We successfully launched internally last week, and will be adding this as a 'venue' for our classroom training.
With 50 people around Europe logging in for our first session it was a great test of the technology, and it all went really well. Our recent addition of the live TV screen where we can feed dynamic web content during the presentation meant that we could move the content away from PowerPoint and keep everyones attention. We even set up a live twitter feed so people so tweet their thoughts.
We'll be launching this under the title Creation Academy soon, and the facility will be open to any of our customers.
The technology means that the voice is delivered using your existing data connection, so with no travel costs and no conference call costs, plus the ability to walk around and interact we feel means that this will be a huge success.
The team even set me up with my own meeting room in the centre, so I can hold actual meetings virtually - if that makes sense.
