Here at Creation we like to do things that stand out, so when it came to designing our own business cards it was no different. We wanted a cost-effective solution that would not only encourage people to take an active role in designing their own card, but also one that broke some of the usual rules of conventional business card design. 

After mulling over several creative options we finally settled on having a flexible, ‘design your own’ business card involving stickers, re-cycled grey board and a bit of imagination. Everyone was given their own personalised sticker sheet, together with a generic illustrated one and some Creation branded cards, the rest was up to them. People instantly started matching up their contact sticker with their favourite illustration to create their unique business card combination. 

Having such a flexible solution makes it easy to re-produce when people run out or get married or, when someone new joins us, and as people only make what they need to, no extras are floating around the office unused and unloved. We were able to cut the cost even more by printing the stickers in-house, which makes it even easier to stock people back up as soon as they run out.

The designs have been met with a great response from colleagues and clients alike and for us, that’s the best thing about this solution – it makes people smile and we love it when that happens.
