Top Tips. Group together

28th Oct 2009

When it comes to getting your business noticed there are a few things you can’t ignore. Being ‘on trend’ is vitally important for whatever sector you’re in, and if you’re in the business of spreading a message, social media can be your best friend.

The idea of sharing instant updates, stories, and information for a free or minimal cost is certainly one to take notice of. Building up a following and letting them spread your message in a natural and organic way means that your business can be identified with on a personal level.

Here are a few hints and tips for keeping social media working for you:

• Change the conversation

Interesting topics and people are always relevant. Don’t let your feeds become static and ‘salesy’, people will only get bored.

• Manage your reputation

Go direct to customers with new stories and information as well as quashing any pesky rumours with a simple post backed up with facts.

• Build up a following

Make sure you’re worth following and you’ll end up with a whole community interested in seeing you succeed.

• Natural PR generation

Use social media to add value to your brand, keep a buzz going and be yourself. The personal touch never fails.

• Boost SEO

Search engines thrive on fresh content, keep up-to-date and you’ll keep in the spotlight.

• Listen to the views

Being able to find out what’s going on and what people are interested in is vital to staying on top form.

Being able to have an insight in to the importance of keeping marketing up-to-date and personal is something Creation Agency have long been aware of.
