  1. You're only as good as your last OS, so it's surely not Windows 7! Snow Leopard surely. Can I have a new Mac now please?

  2. I wouldn't touch Windows 7 with a barge pole, Snow Leopard crippled our fonts for a couple of days, but it's been great since then. Windows keep copying all Apple's ideas anyway.

  3. Isn't this a bit one sided can we not add extra "better" operating systems into the mix.. perhaps Linux? But if i had to choose out of those two it would be Snow Leopard

  4. In the interest of balance, I'd like to add that Windows 7 kicks ass. Leaner, faster, more stable and considerably more pretty than vista. I do like Snow Leopard, but that was really a minor tweat of Leopard. Windows 7 is what Vista should have been.

  5. How do you give Snow Leopard such high praise for value when you can't run it on anything but the computers Apple sells you? Even if it were free, you're going to have to own a Mac to run it, which means you've probably sunk about twice as much money into a computer as you would for anything running Windows.

  6. But Windows 7 was all my idea - I asked Microsoft to make it a lot clearer to see what I am doing and they did...me, me, me! In all seriousness - I think if I had a mac I'd prefer it but as I don't... :0(

  7. I have to say though, the TV ad for Windows is a very good idea. "Designed by Me" is a smart premise, really clever simple strapline.

    By Ben Brown on 26/10/2009

  8. Still having the odd bedding in issues with Snow Leopard, but every time I fire up a pc it makes me feel a little bit grumpy. So it's mac and Snow Leopard for me.
