Recently I bought the new Harvey Pekar book (I actually bought it for Brainy’s Birthday, but I kept it for myself), and I really enjoyed it. I love all of Harvey Pekar books, but this I loved more than normal and the reason for this is it’s size.

I found myself carrying it around my house, and I noticed that I just really liked holding it all the time. It’s set up at 229mm x 150mm, this is slightly bigger than A5 but smaller than A4 (National Geographic is also this size). It’s an American paper size and I’ve fallen in love with those dimensions.

So watch out, the next mailer or brochure I do is coming out in this paper size, and when you hold it you’ll never put it down.
