Now, I know we’ve been poor, and the whole world cup qualifying has been a farce (and the rot set in way before Russia), but I’m suprised to hear that we’ve slipped to 11 in the Fifa rankings and Scotland are up to 13. 2 places behind and closing quick. All credit to Scotland, and I hope they qualify (at least its in their own hands). We need a massive overhaul of our system, which allowed no-ones first choice for manager get picked for the top job in English football. Maybe we should all ask Sven to come back???
